James has been working in the energy sector for over 20 years. His experience spans strategic advisory working with utilities, corporates and start-ups, where he has gained deep and extensive strategy, commercial and technology experience.
James is a Managing Director with Accenture, where he is the ANZ Industry lead for Utilities. He works closely with Networks, Metering and Gentailers on strategy, technology and transformation.
He has a deep passion for energy and emerging technologies in the sector, having served as APAC Regional Director for global energy business Schneider Electric and has been at the forefront of the energy transition for the past ~20 years.
He is a former Chair of the International MicroGrid Association and the Energy Consumers Australia Board advisory panel.
