What attracted you to the RACE Industry PhD?
With the transportation and energy sectors becoming increasingly interconnected, focusing on either one separately hinders the transition towards sustainable electric mobility. RACE supports joint research and facilitates valuable knowledge exchange. This enables my research to incorporate real-world insights, ensuring that the outcomes contribute to Australia’s transition to reliable, affordable, clean energy and mobility.
What do you hope to achieve? I hope to drive systemic change in how we move through cities, promoting mobility solutions that reduce emissions, connect communities, and enhance urban quality of life.
What are you most looking forward to? I look forward to seeing nature conservation become a global priority.
What innovation/change would you like to see in 5-10 years’ time? I would like to see cities dedicate more attention and space to active transportation modes and infrastructure.
