Previous education and work background:
I hold a Master of Science (MSc.) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Civil Engineering. My experience includes roles in industry and academia as a structural engineer, green building consultant, and researcher. I have conducted research on optimizing passive design strategies for buildings and have applied machine learning for building energy predictions and concrete strength forecasting.

When you were young, what did you want to be when you were older?
I wanted to become a scientist who explores the meaning of the world.
What do you hope to achieve?
To explore methods of building a sustainable, comfortable and resilient housing future.
What are you most looking forward to?
Do meaningful and impactful research.
What innovation/change would you like to see in 5-10 years’ time?
I wish to see the construction sector advance with the technology to build sustainable buildings.
