The project “Development and Commercialisation of a Novel Domestic Heat Pump Water Heater (SolaTank)” aims to develop and test a domestic hot water system that integrates a heat pump with an unpressurised thermoplastic storage tank. The SolaTank design departs from conventional pressurised steel tanks by using a low-cost thermoplastic vessel.
