This proposal, titled “Streaming Big Data Analytics: Smart Grid Situational Awareness Project,” aims to deploy high-precision grid sensors – micro-phasor measurement units (µPMUs) – across selected Australian networks and use them to develop new estimation and control techniques for distribution networks with high penetrations of renewable generation and CER.
