I operate at the intersection of power systems and advanced analytics, holding a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Data Science. My career at PT PLN (Persero) spans the entire value chain, including distribution, transmission, and primary energy, where I apply domain expertise alongside data-driven methodologies to solve complex operational challenges.
What attracted you to the RACE Industry PhD?
The RACE program offers the ideal ecosystem for high-impact, applied research. Rather than working in theoretical isolation, it allows me to take cutting-edge methods and directly implement them within live industrial operations at PT PLN, bridging academic innovation with real-world energy infrastructure.
When you were young, what did you want to be when you were older?
An astronaut.
What do you hope to achieve?
I want to become a game-changer across both academia and industry by delivering truly meaningful, impactful research. My goal is to produce an actionable AI framework that solves grid integration challenges for PT PLN while advancing the global academic discourse on smart energy economics.
What are you most looking forward to?
I am most excited about connecting with diverse experts to exchange perspective and value, completing a research project that drives tangible change, and sharing those insights with the broader global community.
What innovation/change would you like to see in 5-10 years’ time?
An energy ecosystem powered by autonomous, intelligent grid management that effortlessly balances consumer-generated renewables with central storage, making clean energy fully reliable and affordable across archipelago nations.
