A new roadmap is being developed that will embrace multiple pathways of energy transition and their evaluation, using a novel place-based and participatory systems approach.
Working with forward-thinking industries, businesses, government agencies, and local community groups in the Bega Valley, this project is co-developing a shared, community-led electrification and fossil fuel replacement roadmap.
It will bring together a range of local and regional energy projects and identify practical, cost-effective, timely, innovative and achievable pathways to a more resilient and sustainable energy system in Bega Valley.
This project is a new collaboration between AgriFutures, the Regional Circularity Co-operative, Charles Sturt University, CSIRO, Bega Valley Shire Council, Essential Energy and Bega Group.
