Data-Driven Modelling for Grid-Integrated Renewable Energy Distribution: Demand Side Forecasting and Grid Optimization

Previous education and work background:
Bachelor of Materials Engineering, Master of Energy System Engineering. I’ve been working in PLN in various roles in gas and steam turbine maintenance, combined cycle power plant operation and in renewable energy research.
What attracted you to the RACE Industry PhD?
The collaboration between academia and industry could help strengthen the knowledge for practitioners especially for the relatively new expertise in renewable energy.
When you were young, what did you want to be when you were older?
To be an Engineer.
What do you hope to achieve?
To be an expert in data science for renewable energy and energy storage.
What are you most looking forward to?
The energy transition to fully utilize renewable energy for the grid.
What innovation/change would you like to see in 5-10 years’ time?
The price for energy storage technology would be lower.
