The project

This study will investigate the psychological factors influencing trust in EV technology and charging infrastructure in Indonesia. It will focus on how consumers’ environmental concerns, perceptions of safety, and concerns about reliability and quality of charging services influence their adoption of EVs.

Data on consumers’ trust in EVs and charging infrastructure, and their environmental concerns will be collected. Factor analysis will be performed to identify key drivers of trust and how they influence EV adoption in the context of Indonesian consumers. In addition, comparative analysis on trust-building strategies used in other countries and adapting them to the Indonesian market can be considered.

This study will help manufacturers understand the key factors that influence consumer trust and tailor their marketing and product development strategies. Furthermore, this study will provide insights into building trust in charging services and improving user experience. Finally, enhanced trust in EV technology and charging services will lead to more informed choices.
